ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST - MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT

Salary Range: $26.44 to $28.85/hour, equivalent to $55,000 - $60,000/year.

The Opportunity:
The Company needs a proactive, results-oriented, highly effective, and hands-on Accounts Payable Specialist (“AP Specialist”) specifically for the Maintenance & Repair Operation business unit (“MRO”). We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized AP Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing certain aspects of the company's accounts payable processes with the MRO, ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices, reconciling expenses, including oversight of expense reports within SAP Concur software, and maintaining accurate financial records. It is essential that the individual be an organized and a self-motivated individual that does not require significant oversight. In addition, the individual is required to have strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of an organization.
Reporting Structure:
The AP Specialist will report to the Financial & Operations Controller and have a dotted line to the Director of Maintenance, Parts Manager, and the Director of the MRO business. There are no direct reports that are required to be managed by the AP Specialist.
Responsibilities:
The AP Specialist will be responsible for the following:

Three Way Match: Accurately reconcile vendor invoices to received parts & services using Corridor Aviation Service software.
-
SAP Concur Expense Reports: Obtain vendor invoices & valid receipts, code charges & prepare expense reports on a timely basis.

Customer Billing
-
Using data downloaded from Corridor Aviation Service software, prepare an Excel report to identify all open work orders. Review these work orders for items that prevent the work order from closing and proactively work to resolve those issues. Close work orders that are completed & ready for billing.

Proactively manage billing to third parties and assist in collecting AR from third parties.
-
Reviewing work order pricing and adjust as needed based on provided matrix. ​

- Compliance: Ensure all accounts payable activities comply with company policies and accounting principles.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the accounting team to implement best practices for efficient payables management.
- Aircraft Times Input for Warranty Programs: Process aircraft warranty invoices and send invoices as part of month end closing process.
- Work Orders: Open monthly work orders in Corridor.
- Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed.
Qualifications:

Education: Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an accounts payable or related accounting role. Experience in aviation related field is preferred.

While highly desired, prior knowledge of the Corridor Aviation software is not a requirement for consideration. Training in this aviation-specific software will be provided. However, the candidate should possess a strong willingness to learn both the aviation business and the Corridor software. ​

Technical Skills:

​Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE Intacct, SAP Concur) highly desired.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams required.

FLIGHT COORDINATOR

Personality Description:
Davinci Jets LLC, a Charter Aircraft and Management company located at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, is looking for a full-time Flight Coordinator. This position includes the responsibility of scheduling all 91 and 135 trips and handling all requests from the clients as well as the needs of the crew and aircraft. These include, but are not limited to, transportation, hotel, catering, hangar space, and fuel. This position requires the highest level of customer service and attention to detail while working in a team driven environment.
We are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, who is energetic with strong problem-solving abilities, that can handle a fast-paced environment. This person must be able to handle the constant change that the aviation world affords people. Accuracy is imperative as well as a high level of work ethic. Ability to handle confidential information and maintain that confidentiality regarding the company and its clients is a must. The right candidate must also be available for after hours and weekends on call. The on call and holiday schedule is rotated between members of the team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must.

CHIEF INSPECTOR
Davinci Jets Services is hiring for a Chief Aviation Inspector in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will be working for a Part 145 Corporate aircraft maintenance repair station. DJS is dedicated to providing extraordinary aviation services, parts sales, avionics, and aircraft maintenance services.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure strict adherence to all regulations outlined in 14 CFR Part 145, as well as any additional applicable regulatory requirements.

Establish and maintain procedures that guarantee compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
